teach me how to think.......

Yaah, I know this sounds a bit naive but; I really wonder , how many of us really know how to think?
since my childhood, I have been suppressed under the burden of facts that never came handy in my life and as far as I see, it happens with almost every child in India.

A pretty good question to ask is,why these people don't teach us the basic phenomena about human existence... which i believe is analytical thinking for decision making. Why are we forced to such weird things that are already outdated.

After being an engineering student in one of the prestigious University of india .... I still feel our system has to be more receptive from the other end, which is largely neglected in decision making- STUDENTS.

I believe that the sole aim for education is to provide students a firm basis for facing the unknown territory called the future, but future is hardly predictable and in that scenario facts will never help but only the experience of facing challenging situation under uncertainty. This experience and the realization will be a zillion times better than scoring 90% in the end semesters.

I asked myself... why do I want to do the things I want to do?
As I did not get a satisfactory answer it became mandatory to sort things out and precisely at this moment,  the very moment when my life was about to be decided I saw myself unable to decide the course of my life.  Luckily, I found what I love and I am struggling hard to achieve it ; but  all this confusion led me to ask why no one taught me this.

  1. That is very true. Rote learning gets you a big job (may be) , a car, a house, yada yada all the things most people who teach have dreamt about.

But real education is something very different. It allows to realise yourself, find your kick as some would say, and then to nurture it. To live happily and stress-free. Hey, this is a comment right, not a blog entry. You get the sentiments, I hope ;)
