even though I am an atheist but I realized that I could learn from religion as well.
religion :
1) self-claimed truth without data
2) habit and practices to support that self-claimed truth.
I think what makes religion persist for so long is that it had built these rituals or practices or habits for everyone who would come in contact with it. Sooner than you realize, those practices overpower your search for truth and you start believing those practices are itself the truth.
Now, if you want to extract a meta-level deduction from this knowledge then you will possibly have a powerful source of converting anything into a mission, a more than life experience.
religion could persist for millennia because of this simple self-evident truth.
Analogy
Business:
1) self-claimed truth with or without data (i.e this will work or product market fit)
2) you have to build habit and practices to support that self-claimed truth (management practices).
