Input metrics

 powerlaw cultural points

powerlaw - create certainty - this is the reason for our existence

what is certainty - core indicator value + date of execution - meta level understanding

The way you will create certainty - do the most important thing first, everyday - all move from most important task to lower importance task

Nobody cares !!!

tumhe kitna malum hia isse koi fark nahi padta, tum kitna output nikal paa rahe ho - current knowledge se ya new knowledge aquire karke....isse fark padta hai...

In this company - you are not working for the company , you are working for your own self - you control your growth

samay ke paise nahi milte, output ke paise milte hai

TRM - task relevant maturity - 0-10 , 10 ka matlab hame pura vishwas hai ki tum kaam perfectly kar loge.... this is the most important metric for your promotion + sales performance

Take these ratings/feedback/review super seriously, this will get you promoted or fired

if you do mistake, its not you making mistake - its powerlaw making mistake... therefore increasing uncertainty in my life - after all the training .... this is not acceptable

there are two most important variables for the companye -{customer retention stages .. rank 1 by 3rd month} - {csm retention stages - 2 lakh by fourth month , 50 k billing revenue per month}

successful team characteristic - hungry , hard working , honest

never get angry, never shout on anyone, focus on solving problem - not on the emotions

morning meeting is sacrosant , subah sharp 10 am pe join karna hai call .... uske baad ... din mein you may take breaks while informing team members

chalu log nahi pasand, agar galti kari to accept karo .... ghumane ki koshish na kare - samne wala has most likely seen all tactics by now

purest form of transaction - customers needs output , pays for output - the day, we are not able to give him certainty for being rank 1 ... he will kick us out no matter what

Pure meritocracy - Your hunger decides how much money you can make - You can make as much money as much you want - it all depends on you - the more you learn and perform, the more you will make money

You are never going to ask for holiday, you will inform about holidays - ideal 1 week before you need holiday

You are free to work whatever times suits you - just keep your customer happy and complete your task for the output

Please make sure that we are following up with customers for payment , and get it credited with 7 days of bill creation - in most cases

we never ask the customer for fake ratings/review, let the customer handle it on their own...we never recommend getting fake reviews, 1 ped lagane ke chakkr mein bageech ujad jayega

"This is a message to every CSM - please focus on get to 5:1 ratio for your sales billing to compensation ASAP

You will love working with us ...if you get to this ration asap...... Ask you seniors how you can get more sales billing , they will guide you....but the responsibility of reaching there is your own.

If you do not get to 5:1 ration within 3-4 months of working with powerlaw..... I want to clearly tell you that you will not stay in  powerlaw for long.

Please reach there ASAP

All the best"

We should judge ourselves (Me,Partner and BHs) by these three parameters only

1) How much sales we added to the customer

2) How much sales we added to each category

3) How much billing did each TL + CSM generated for the month

All other processes/systems are input metrics, they are tools for us to play with.

The soothing effect of ocean and nature sounds stems from a combination of factors:

1. Physiological Effects:

  • Lowered heart rate and blood pressure: These sounds often have a slow, rhythmic quality that can synchronize with our own heartbeat, inducing a calming effect.

  • Reduced stress hormone levels: Studies have shown that listening to nature sounds can decrease cortisol levels, the hormone associated with stress.

  • Improved sleep quality: The gentle, repetitive patterns of ocean and nature sounds can block out distracting noises and promote relaxation, aiding in falling asleep and staying asleep.

2. Psychological Effects:

  • Association with relaxation and tranquility: We have a natural affinity for natural environments, and these sounds evoke feelings of peace and serenity.

  • Cognitive benefits: The lack of complex auditory information in nature sounds allows our brains to rest and de-stress, promoting clarity and focus.

  • Sensory deprivation: In a world filled with constant stimulation, nature sounds offer a break from the overwhelming sensory input, allowing our minds to unwind.

3. Evolutionary Perspective:

  • Connection to ancestral environments: Our ancestors evolved in natural environments, and these sounds are deeply embedded in our biological and psychological makeup. They signal safety and security, triggering a sense of comfort.

  • Survival instincts: The sound of waves crashing or rain falling can be interpreted as signs of a stable and predictable environment, reducing anxiety and promoting feelings of well-being.

4. Personal Experience:

  • Positive memories: We often associate nature sounds with positive experiences like vacations, walks in the park, or simply relaxing moments in nature. These memories contribute to the overall sense of peace and calm.

  • Individual preferences: Our individual experiences and preferences shape how we respond to different sounds. Some may find the sound of rain more soothing than ocean waves, and vice versa.

Overall, the soothing effect of ocean and nature sounds is a result of a complex interplay of physiological, psychological, and evolutionary factors. They provide a respite from the stresses of modern life, promoting relaxation, stress reduction, and improved cognitive function.
