In the end, hiw big or how small you want your life to be is your choice
That question decides, your daily behavior and habit which in turn affect your existence
In a world where future is what yoh will
Those people have an edge who could hold a thought or an idea for a sustained period of time and make it happen
making yourself do things by compelling yourself

fashion is sexy in the short run, but in the long run function/substance always wins
acquire knowledge, apply knowledge
Men are much more likely to discover easier and readier methods of attaining any object, when the whole attention of their minds is directed towards that single object
A great part of the machines made use of in those manufactures in which labour is most subdivided, were originally the invention of common workmen
a boy who wanted to save his own labour
improve dexterity, and saves time
universal opulence which extends itself to the lowest ranks of the people
voluntary cooperation at work - adam smith
What a variety of labour, too, is necessary in order to produce the tools of the meanest of those workmen! To say nothing of such complicated machines as the ship of the sailor, the mill of the fuller, or even the loom of the weaver, let us consider only what a variety of labour is requisite in order to form that very simple machine, the shears with which the shepherd clips the wool. The miner, the builder of the furnace for smelting the ore the feller of the timber, the burner of the charcoal to be made use of in the smelting-house, the brickmaker, the bricklayer, the workmen who attend the furnace, the millwright, the forger, the smith, must all of them join their different arts in order to produce them.
Observe the accommodation of the most common artificer or daylabourer in a civilized and thriving country, and you will perceive that the number of people, of whose industry a part, though but a small part, has been employed in procuring him this accommodation, exceeds all computation. The woollen coat, for example, which covers the day-labourer, as coarse and rough as it may appear, is the produce of the joint labour of a great multitude of workmen. The shepherd, the sorter of the wool, the wool-comber or carder, the dyer, the scribbler, the spinner, the weaver, the fuller, the dresser, with many others, must all join their different arts in order to complete even this homely production. How many merchants and carriers, besides, must have been employed in transporting the materials from some of those workmen to others who often live in a very distant part of the country? How much commerce and navigation in particular, how many ship-builders, sailors, sail-makers, rope-makers, must have been employed in order to bring together the different drugs made use of by the dyer, which often come from the remotest corners of the world?
opulence is relative- adam smith
propensity of exchange - adam smith
division of labour - adam smith
This division of labour, from which so many advantages are derived, is not originally the effect of any human wisdom, which foresees and intends that general opulence to which it gives occasion. It is the necessary, though very slow and gradual, consequence of a certain propensity in human nature, which has in view no such extensive utility; the propensity to truck, barter, and exchange one thing for another

everybody is dying to get new customers, but
I see a lot of platforms trying to pitch to businesses that they can provide new customers, but my contrarian thought is that the old customers are the gold mine that has to be milked to get new customers by providing the brilliant experience of product or services.
So, customer loyalty management will be a much bigger market in every verticle then customer discovery market.
Hence, I should look for customer loyalty markets and try to be a dominant player in them.

gary vee
consumers to pay more for something when they
could pay less. One is convenience, and the other is
an outstanding customer experience
all businesses are going to be relationship businesses
This is my learning.
Being close to your customer is not a good thing to the business, it is the most important thing to the business.
A good way to understand this will be to read "thank you economy by gary vanurchuk".
acquire knowledge, apply knowledge
In 21st century, you are less than 3 clicks away from every human being on the planet
the decision taken in 2009 (make correction before social platform posting)
If I just keep walking on the path that I have chose. Its is difficult as hell, but when I look back it is the most rewarding experience of my life.
And my boy, just let me make it happen.
Then, the decision taken in 2009(9 years in making), I will have proven that I was right.
acquire knowledge, apply knowledge.
Reciprocity principle - Every Sunday , first thing that I should do is to share some piece of knowledge with all the people I want to be in touch for building trust
It's a simple gesture that keeps the virtual link with all the nodes involved.
Technology allows that ,this is what the future of connected generation look like
Dunbar number will be proven wrong
I think, if utilized properly, I can be in touch with million s of people and share my knowledge
Which in the long run builds trust
Acquite knowledge, apply knowledge - 21 st century adaptation
It's not the fastest, its not the strongest and it is not the strongest that wins in the survival game called evolution.
It is the one who adapts to the condition , quickest then anyone else.
I think there is a big similarity between evolution and business
Ask kodak
Ask canon
Ask Nokia
Ask Walmart
21st century adaptation is acquiring knowledge and applying knowledge

my idea of Success
1) do what I want to do, always (acquire knowledge, apply knowledge)
2) meditate after every 3 hours, for as long as I want
every major human sin that has been committed in the history had been sold as something good for the masses - it is not
The hypocrisy is apparent, first create the problem and then pose yourself as the only force to make it right.
Oh, poor humans !!
Save yourself from such leaders.

thank you retailers

you can't hate someone who cares for you
The problem is with human brain wiring.
power law, self interest and compounding return
It took a lot of pain to finally come to these simple truths.
the hard part was not finding them, the hard part was neglecting all other mathematical curves and believing that these curves will give the best return for me, in the long run without having enough data to believe completely.
there are many competing mathematical curves that could have given good enough outcome, but I did not want good enough. I want to be the best in business decision making based on seemingly obvious but not apparently intuitive curves.
I remember i had done something similar before leaving for Kota for my engineering preparation.
I chose to believe and iterate my stand as time moves and I gather more data.
acquire knowledge, apply knowledge.
cheers to compounding return policy
the basics of creating monopoly are same, irrespective of the sector of business.
Just learn making monopoly once, and reap the benefit of this knowledge until the end of your time........... now that's cool
compounding return example 1 - coding
But when I started doing it, it does not feel alien. It felt like coming home, coming back to the world of certainty.......
I know, the more I will code the better I will feel and the work quality will improve as well....this is a perfect example of compounding return...
something, that was done a couple of years can help you till eternity and it keeps improving its quality over period.
compounding indeed :)
truth and ujjwal come again and again
So, this mathematical curve of following things that have compounding return has been coming to haunt me for some time.
As if, I have been looking for it and now I see its application everywhere.
question is, once I know this simple truth, can I control my attention and force it only on those things that have compounding rate of return.
I think I don't have a choice but to adapt to this level of decision making. This will make me powerful and weird , simultaneously.
acquire knowledge, apply knowledge.
it is not how hard you work, but rather which naturally occurring mathematical curve chosen by you for your life story - Mine is compounding
No matter how ridiculously small it looks in the beginning but I know the result of compounding return over time is magical.
eg - learning has a compounding return
It is not how hard you work but rather which naturally occurring mathematical curve is chosen by you for your life.
Look for compounding return and make it happen, everything is else is useless for my life.
relationships has a compounding return
there is only one question to decide whether to do an activity or not, does it give compounding return?
be strict with your attention, put your attention to activities that have compounding returns only.

hypothesis - nothing can change your belief about anything other than you yourself updating it.
None of these has any power over your belief:
- no friends
- no family
- no supernatural element
- no teacher
- no lover
- no book
you require these , in exactly this sequence
- product-market fit ( first act of the startup and usually the second hardest thing)
- distribution- (second act and usually the most difficult thing ----- if you don't have product-market fit, you do not require distribution)
- finance - ( if you do not have distribution or if you can not prove that your distribution model is scalable, you will not require a lot of finance )
- people - ( if you get the first three things, people will be begging you to allow them on your boat)
cathy siera and feynman - both taught the same thing to me

only the paranoid survive
I have no idea when I first said this, but the fact remains that, when it comes to business, I believe in the value of paranoia. Busines success contains the deed of its own destruction. The more successful you are, the more people want a chunk of your business and then another chunk and then another until there is nothing left. I believe that the prime responsibility of a manager is to guard constantly against other people's attacks and to inculcate this guardian attitude in the people under his or her management.
Having both been affected by strategic inflection points and having caused them, I can safely say that the former is tougher.

Fundamental truth about humans
They have this deep urge to be even.
So , if someone does something for you...you can not help but do simile things to them
Apply that in terms of helping as many people in making money , you will be helped back and it will compound over time .
That is what I was searching , simple truth
Help others make money, you will make money :)
the more accurate your schema, the easier it will be to make it happen.
chinese proverb
so have the schema, then act, then measure, then iterate schema..... repeat

People are intuitively loyal and devoted to money meta
All other instances are just manifestation of this highest meta.
Whenever money flow changes , people change.
If you control money generation and money flow, you direct humanity
People have loyalty towards money
Use this knowledge
Another mathematical curve
People have infinite affinity towards money
design systems where this affinity gets fulfilled
