If all we have is each other, then lets learn from each other.

I want to make a sentence that encompasses everything that I want to have in my nature.

Let individual or group of individuals(American) be free to think and dream anything(Indian), work their butts off to achieve those dreams(Japanese).

I have come across these three cultures in my life time, each one of them have some sort of effect on me.

American - individual freedom ( I have it)
Indian - Depth of analysis and thinking ( I was born in this environment, I have it)
Japanese - dedication to the work at hand. ( I have to work on this, practice harder)

Thank you ... everyone.

Deep urge for sharing

I have this unsatiable urge to share whatever limited knowledge I possess. I will share my knowledge by doing and helping others doing what they want to do.

I believe there is only one kind of learning..... Experiential.

My heroes

when I was small, i was always searching for examples. Examples that would resonate with my dreams.I had been a big fan of these comic heroes and specially, batman. But I never could found people in real life who had strength of character to do the right thing, instead of doing the easy thing.

It was very late that I came across a few such individuals. Newton, faraday(my hero), edison, enistein, feynman, carl sagan( thank you kanishk, for introducing him to me),bruce lee, danial kanhman, steve jobs, etc.

I have learnt a lot from you. Thank you.

I do not know what will I measure upto. I do not know that I will ever do anything meaningful by my standards. But, your company has taught me that one can aspire for greatness in their work.

As the man in the arena, all your actions will always be short of your ideal. But you have taught how to pick myself up and fight again, and again, and again.

For seven years, I have been searching for any power that humans possess. I found one, but at the cost of my late teens and early to mid twenties. It has been a fabulous journey. I have seen myself changing. I never had a doubt the path, after all it was a calculated risk. But I did not ever know that I would ever reach the core of what it means to be human - self control.

Let me give you an example- I know it is true for a fact.

Once we embed  a thought in our head, there is no power in the world that can force us to change our mind. This level of control is unique to human, as per my research.

One more interesting thing that I came to realise about humans is that we are immitators.
Humans are endowed with something called mimmick neurons, which allows us to copy others behaviour. I take it as a salvation message for the humanity. That some fool could aspire for achieving the best in humans, given enough exposure and time ; other fools will join him/her.
Till the time humanity will have at least one fool to devote his live towards imporving humanity, society has a chance to improve. Mimickery is both a curse and a blessing.

I am to create a group of humans who will work to improve society. I fundamentally believe that technology has potential to improve lives of millions. We just need to understand connection between the technology and human necessity.

I do not know I will be able to achieve that goal. But I will walk the talk first so that whoever will join me later will have at one model to aspire for ..... to look up to at least one stupid who knowingly chose the  untrodden path... to say that I know about a stupid who failed a gazzillion times to take humanity to the next level.

My heros.... I will always be in debt.... one day I will join you.... one day I will be better than you.
All my teachers in the past wanted me to be better than them, I want my people to be better then me as well.

Measure self control

I needed a method to measure how much self control I possess. I came up with a simple idea, I wanted an objective method to compute self control in any individual.

But  there was a small problem, by definition self control is subjective in nature.

I thought really hard, but could not come up with some kind of a objective test.

After a while something struck my head, even though not perfect but the method i devised could work for now.

Give following simple instructions to anyone and check how long he or she could do it-
1) sit comfortably on a cushion.
2) keep you back straight.
3) close your eyes and focus your attention in the middle of your eyebrows(place is not important, process is).
4) you may sit for as much period you want.(no external pressure should be applied, the process is completely voluntary)
5) the longer you sit the more self control you possess.

Having a power is one thing and being able to apply it in a particular direction is another thing, but ar least it is a start.

I will try to refine the process of computing self control.
I tried today and I was able to sit for 2 hours.

For me duration is not so important as much as the process. It helps you focus your attention to the only thing you want to focus in that period of time. I have done this in the past hence I can tell you that over period your concentration power improves and your ability to give your entire self to anything increases exponentially.

Thank you, Budha.

Lets Experiment and Apply it in life.

Everything is an opportunity to increase your self control

From today onwards, everything will be an opportunity to increase my self-control.

That is the currency of life for me.

bring it on!

we never forget our negative experiences

We could use it as a tool for the mind. If we attach the most negative experience with something positive, everytime we will think about that negative experience we will have a choice to look at the positive side of the experience.

It can even help us in achieving things that we previously thought impossible.
