Hold the thought

If I zoom out 20,000 feet and observe my behaviour in comparison with other humans-
 I found that most of the things are similar to other humans, heck almost 99.99 % similarity with other humans but, there is one thing that I can state which is somewhat different than others - that is my ability to hold a thought for as long as I want to.

I can stick with the thought and change everything around me including my behaviour, physique and environment - everything, but still I can hold the thought for as long as I want to.

I want to know, if others can do the same.

If they could, then how are they utilising this power.
